FREE Custom Dials for ArtsNow Watches

by Nathan on January 9, 2010

Aha! I’ve gotten a couple of questions about how I created some of my watch designs for reselling.

FREE Custom Dials for ArtsNow Watches

Especially for the one on the left, I’ve gotten questions asking how I make it look like one of those Swiss Army watches. Simple. You go through a lot of trouble trying to find the correct font and then die tearing your hair out trying to align them properly in a clock dial arrangement. Or, you could just download a PDF I have created that includes this dial, in addition to 17 other free-to-use custom dials for your customised watches.

Download here.

This is the first of a series of custom dials I will be putting up for download. I plan to release a couple of custom dials and textures every now and then, but these will be restricted to email subscribers of this feed. Enter your email on the left to receive custom dials in PDF format delivered right to your email!

Hey bobby! ArtsNow is ok 90% of the time, but I’ve lost some watches and had customers complain of cracked watches before. I guess they can’t really handle the huge amount of orders. However, I’m glad to be making at least a few hundred dollars a month even after minusing all these pesky problems. My advice to you is, dropship 1 or 2 watches to yourself first. Test out the shipping speed and the quality of the watches yourself. Sign up for a basic reseller account (just sign up for a month its only 19USD), you can cancel later if you don’t like it. I have to admit I was pissed at times when customers complained that they didn’t receive their watches and was ready to cancel my reseller account, butttt, so far as long as I don’t make any loss, or suffer a huge decrease in profits, I’m ok. I’m now selling exclusively on my online store http://www.ultraneat.com

For the dials I’ve provided here, simply open the PDF in a vector software like Illustrator. Select the dial that you want (highlight the circle and the numbers inside), copy it. Open up Photoshop and create a new image 600 x 600 pixels (recommended by ArtsNow). Now paste the dial into the new image. It should appear in the centre of the new photoshop file. Now simply customise the background any way you want. Once you save the image, you can upload to ArtsNow and make a watch! Hope this helps
